This is a simple and healthy(ish) breakfast that can be prepared super quick. All is needed is to combine all the ingredients and give it 12 hours in the fridge to combine. It's extremely variable meaning you can add anything from fresh or dried fruit, granola, cinnamon, vanilla and honey or maple syrup for sweetness. I have kept this version fairly simple using a good quality granola packed with almonds, pecans, hazelnuts and pistachios.
- Granola 100g
- Porridge Oats 200g
- 1 Pink Lady Apple
- Greek Yoghurt 500g
- Honey 2 Tablespoons
- Cinnamon 2 Teaspoons or 4 whole sticks
- Milk to loosen if needed
The only preparation needed is to finely dice the apple. Add all the ingredients into a large bowl, mix well and refrigerate overnight.
The best part is that it will keep in the fridge until the date of the yoghurt expires. If the mixture is too thick simply add a bit of milk to loosen.
Serve with a tablespoon of granola for added texture.
